Pretty good overall. I got the turkey leg and it was fall off the bone tender but there were some semi dry spots that were fixed by dipping it into the BBQ sauce that's slathered on it. The Mac and cheese was amazing but definitely very rich and I'm pretty sure loaded with butter. Amazing but bad for you lol. The collard greens were nothing special but definitely not bad. I couldn't really taste the potato salad that came with the turkey leg but inate that last so my taste buds might have just been overwhelmed at that point.

While returning from an out west trip heading towards home in WI, we found this AMAZING joint on our overnight stay in Omaha! This was an excellent dinner + couldn't be beat! Service with a smile. + The best barbecue around! We had the four meat entree with sides + we barely put a dent in it! We ordered rib tips, beef brisket, pulled pork, and catfish bites. We had potato salad, mac and cheese. Homemade! And green beans! Highly suggest the catfish bites, the cornmeal breading was so light and tasty! Homemade meals like this don't exist, these are great people with great food. I highly suggest visiting!!!
My family got the ribs and brisket dinner and were not disappointed one bit! We are from the South and this food is truly southern roots. The sides were amazing and if you doubt, they let u try a sample before you buy, what a great family owned business! The portion and prices were reasonable and the staff was amazing and helpful through it all. Another hole in the wall "gem" that is worth a visit. A true pitmaster is cooking here .
I got off work and had my first meal there. I sat & watched the Nebraska game. People were eating from out of town too. Very nice atmosphere. Enjoyed my food.
Great little hole in the wall! Husband and I shared the 3 meat combo, and there was so much food we couldn't finish it. We got some samples while waiting for our friends, and it just made picking the sides harder cause they were all so good. We will definitely be back. I forgot to save room for dessert, and I really want the peach cobbler
Our baseball team is visiting from Seattle Washington for slumpfest and we had a wonderful dinner here tonight. They welcomed us like family and the food was delicious! I had the brisket and fried okra and sweet potato fries and my family ordered the ribs. I highly recommend!!!! We will be back next year!
TALK ABOUT AMAZING!!!!! We were in Omaha running errands and we were craving GOOD BBQ. Google did NOT disappoint! Led us to this little whole in the wall joint! Husband ordered the 4 meat combo-pulled pork, ribs, rib tips and sausage with 2 sides of mac and cheese and coleslaw. 2 dino ribs. I got the 2 meat combo-cat fish nuggets and brisket with 2 sides of collard greens and fried okra. Along with peach cobler and sweet potatoe pie. Let me tell you what! This was some of THE BEST BBQ we have had in a LOOOOOOONG time. Everything was AMAZING!!! Portions were awesome and definitely filled us up with some to take home for a midnight snack! The servive here was on point! The gentleman that helped us was so kind! We are from Fremont and will 100% be coming down. Oh and to top it off my husband HATES potatoe salad.....not their though. After 13 years together i have NEVER seen him eat potato salad until today. I have a feeling we will be coming back here REAL soon!
Went in for the first time today and I am happy I did! Got the lunch special. I chose the brisket sliders and fried okra side. Special came with a drink too. The okra was great. Nice and crispy but not oily. Loved the brisket. Tender and flavorful. The owners are very personable and have a rapport with their customers. Excellent food and customer service. Looking forward to going back!
